Dear All,
The last two years has been a tough couple of years for the whole world, and it has been an especially difficult year for orthodontists. It is my sincere hope that none of our members have been too badly affected by the coronavirus but, sadly, this may not be the case. Eventually the coronavirus will pass and life will return mostly to normal. But, until then, we must work hard, innovate, and find ways to continue provide our patients with the high quality and timely treatment that they deserve.
The 9th WSLO meeting will take place in March 2023 in KOBE where the next WBLO examination will also take place. As the current president of the WBLO I have great pleasure in looking forward to seeing WSLO members submitting their cases. The WBLO exists to ensure that all certified members of the WSLO have reached a very high level of lingual orthodontic treatment skill. It is important that we all continue to strive to provide ever higher levels of treatment for our patients. Taking the WBLO examination is one practical way in which it is possible to add to this effort.
Please note the necessity of strictly adhering to all of the WBLO rules for submissions. Any breach of the rules, even in a single case, will lead to the disqualification of the candidate. The examiners will be made up of current WBLO board members.
